Study of Unsteady Thrust Generation Systems.

The recent thrust on miniaturization of micro air vehicles and unmanned air vehicles has necessitated a reanalysis of the conventional steady thrust generation systems and new look into unconventional unsteady ones. The objective of Prof. Ratnesh Shukla’s Lab of the Mechanical Engineering Department is to develop an advanced understanding of the influence of hydrodynamic slip on the flow and transport characteristics through direct numerical simulations. Discovering Novel Topological Materials

Prof. Abhishek Singh’s lab in Material Research Centre has used SERC HPC facility in 2017, involving 14.4 million core hours, for computational modelling of materials, especially in applications, where extensive computational resources were required. Read more…
