Login as superuser into your linux system and make a directory where you can mount the files.
# mkdir /opt/Gaussian-G09
# mount -t cifs //10.16.4.96/shares/Gaussian-G09 /opt/Gaussian-G09 -o guest
# cd /opt/Gaussian-G09
Now change directory to “Gaussian-G09-Linux-64Bit” / “Gaussian-G09-Linux-32Bit” for 64 Bit OS and 32 Bit OS respectively and at the prompt type ./install and press enter.
